Mr Ai> drew McGonagle. who was hit on the head by a flying plank at the KempIhorne Prosser fertiliser works at Aramoho on Thursday, died at the Wanganui Hospital on Saturday morn ing. The circumstances wore tragic. De* 'ceased was engaged, with some fellow workmen, near one of the big buildings being erected in connection with the fertiliser plant, when he was struck by a plank dislodged by the wind from lhe high scaffolding surrounding the building. At the hospital it was found that hiw skull was fractured, and though he recovered consciousness, he gradually sank. The unfortunate man was 48 years of age, and was married, with a family.
