NO PAROCHIALISM CONFERENCE AT PALMERSTON NORTH I Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., Feb. 12. A conference between members of the Manawatu A. and P. Association and the Chamber of Commerce was held to consider matters in connection with the proposed agricultural college. The whole trend of the discussion was to tho effect that no parochialism should be introduced. All parties would endeavour to pull together and assist the Government and Universities to arrive at a satisfactory decision regarding the site. It was resolved to hold a conference, on Monday, February 22, and invite local and district bodies to send representatives, also the local district members of Parliament to attend.
