CHURCH ORGANISATION MONTHLY BASIS FIXED SECURING SUITABLE APPLICANTS Received Feb. 4. 11.30 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 3. The first report of the Church of England Council of Empire Settlement states that the Council’s earliest efforts were directed to the creation of organisations overseas, . controlled by the Church in the Dominions, for the reception, placing, and after-care of newcomers, and says this has now been accomplished in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, and is in progress of formation in Canada. The monthly basis of migration is 3355 in- | dividual®. The Council appeals to parishes throughout the country to secure i suitable applicants.
