NOTES ON OPENING DAY
SUCCESS C" AUCKLAND HORSES
We Egmont Racing Club’s Cup meeting opened successfully at Hawera yesterday and will be concluded to-day, when good fields will again face the starter. The conditions yesterday were surprisingly good after several days’ rain, and the racing was keen throughout. Notes and comments, together with details of results and acceptances for to-day. follow.
