U.S. WOMEN’S TEAM TO VISIT ENGLAND NEW YOBK, Dec. 13. The United States Lawn Tennis Association yesterday approved of the proposition to send a women’s team of four players to England in June to challenge for the Wightman Cup and to play in the ’Wimbledon tournament. WAINUI.A-RUA SUB-ASSOCIA-TION The following players aro requested to keep in constant practice in view of the final selection of the team to represent t*ie Sub-Association in its inaten against the Wanganui Association at Wanganui during tournament week:— Ladies.—Rena Gray, M. Cribb, Ria to Whata, M. Hurinui, Hihi Amorang. . Wai Ratana, Kehu Ropata, A. Puke, L. Wanihi, P. Pukehika.
Men. —P. Ranginui, D. Potae, W. Ti Ture, D. Nikoruna, Toss Pcinu, R. Pokiha, T. Pine, T. Pauro, B. Auioraiigi, M. Hikito, R. Nahona. Boys.—D. Nikorima, T. liauna, J. Rio, or T. Wanihi (only two required). Should any players, whether their names are included in the foregoing list or not, desire to take part in the Wanganui tournament, which takes place on January 1,2, and 4, they should apply to their club secretaries for entry forms, have them filled in, and sent to the Wanganui Association by the 21st inst.
