HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. SPECIAL PROGRAMMTPTO-NIGHT.. Marguerite de la Motte heads the cast in the picturisation of Kenneth Perkin’s thrilling story, “The Beloved Brute,” which will be shown at His Majesty’s Theatre to-day. The New Zealland movie star, Victor McLaglen, William Russell, Mary Alden and Stuart Holmes also win fresh laurels for themselves in this production. “The Beloved Brute” has at once the tang of the sawdust. ring and the breath of the frontier, while vcloping an alluring romance. It is overwhelmingly filled with pathos, humanness, tender-ness—high-lighted with delicious humour—and contains & nice balance of heart interest, drama, and inimitable character acting which has made Behan’s Pietro a beloved characterisation.
