FRENCH POSITIONS ABANDONED

A REVERSE IN MOROCCO MADRID, Oct. 20. The French forces commanded by General Beichut, who is holding positions at Souktzelatawieff and Sidialibourkoba, have fallen back on Souksebtaniamar in accordance with instructions.

Large enemy bodies vigorously attacked the French troops, whose withdrawal was covered by an advance of a Franco-Spanish column under Colonel Dolla.

The abandoned positions have been dismantled and all material removed.
