many districts seriously AFFECTED. DAY OF SPECIAL PRAYER HELD. Received Oct. 21, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 21. Want of rain and droughty conditions are seriously affecting crops and pasture in many country districts. Unless there is rain soon, prospects are depressing. In some places a day of special prayers for rain is being held.
