LABOUR’S INDECENCY
RESENTED AT PARNELL. A DETRACTOR HOWLED DOWlf. AUCKLAND, October 20. The meeting addressed by Mr J. 8. Dickson, Reform candidate, at Parnell had a sensational ending. Mr T. Bloodworth, in seconding an amendment to the motion of thanks and confidence, said that it had even bceii hinted by some Reform supporters thal it was just as well that Mr Massey wai removed from the party’s platform tx* make room for Mr Coates. His further remarks were drowned by cries <M "Shame!”, stamping, and hooting. The chairman said: "I cannot ab low a statement liko that to go unchallenged.” Mr Bloodworth got no further than "Mr Coates,” when his voice was drowned. He was counted out. Mr Bloodworth eventually left the platform, and the motion of thanks and confidence was carried amid applause, with a fe>w dissentients.
