DRUSES PUSHING ON CRITICAL POSITION IN SYRIA Received October 20, 8.45 p.m. (Sun) PARIS, Oct. 19. The Druses have entered the southern quarters of Damascus. The position is critical. LATER INFOBMATION FRANCE FACED WITH GRAVE PERIL Received October 20. 11.45 p.m. PARIS, Oct. 20. Advices from Beirut state that the Druses are attacking the gates of Damascus. Joined by Communsitic antiFrench regiments, they have entered the southern quarter. The position .in Syria is critical. France is faced with a grave crisis in the mandated territory. ___
