The “New York World” says: According to the stories of thirty survivors. the negro crew of the Clyde liner Comanche, burned off the eoast pf Florida on Saturday night, stamped ed madly before the flames, pulled passengers out of lifeboats, and precipitated men and women into the sea. The charge is made that the negro seamen were drunk when the fire started, and could not be controlled by the officers.
