WISCONSIN CLERGYMAN
“PROHIBITION MAKES A MESS,” SAY PROHIBITIONISTS.
I The Rev. .1. P. Agema, superintendent, Wisconsin Anti-Saloon League, a Prohibitionist through and through, 'made the following significant admission in the New York Times on March '29 this year: “Prohibition enforcement in Wisconsin is a farce. Prohibition officials elected to enforce the law are not doing all in their power to enforce it. We need an investigation to clear up the mess.” I To clear up the mess! What sort of law is it which makes such a r‘mess?” Do you want that sort, of legislation in New Zealand? Surely it lis better to stick to a clean system of control, to adhere to laws which can ibe respected. (Advt.) *lO
