WEMBLEY EXHIBITION
AUSTRALIA CAUGHT ON THE HOP N.Z. PLANS READY SHIPMENT ARRANGED LONDON, Oct. 18. The decision to end Wembley with a formal closing by the Duke and Duchess of York on October 31 comes as a surprise. The Australian pavilion authorities h'ave been marking time in the belief that the British Government intended to take over the whole Exhibition, realise on the assets, and then come to a final arrangement with the guarantors. Australia will now have to frame a scheme for dealing with) the contents of the pavilion. New Zealand has already arranged for shipping its pavilion directly the Exhibition closes.
