AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS. DALGETY AND CO., LTD. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston. North, report having a small entry of sheep and a good yarding of, cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday. There was keen competition for young cattle and a total clearance was effected at the following prices:— Sheep.—Fat hoggets made 325; fat shorn ewes, 325; shorn b.f. 2-tooths, 27s 3d. Cattle.—Jersey cross spring ; ng heifers, £6 7s 6d; springing cows, £8 2s (id, £8 12s 6d, to £11; store cows, £2 ITS; fat cows, £6 15s, £8 2s 6d. £9, £9 10s, to £lO 2s 6d; fat heifers, £6 15s, £lO 2s 6d, £ll, to £ll 2s 6d; rough 2-year steers, £4; 2-year Shorthorn steers, £5 6s; 2 and 3-year Hereford steers, to £7 2s; P.A. cross cows, r.w. P.A. bull, £5 15s; young empty P.A. cows, £5 6s; 2year P.A. heifers, £4 15s to £4 17s; small 2-ycar P.A. and Hereford heifers,/ £3 15s. “ ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS, LTD. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Feilding sale held on Friday as follows:—A small yarding of sheep met with a keen sale, hoggets in particular being in good demand at prices in excess of the previous week’s qoutation. A heavy yarding of wellbred bullocks and younger cattle met a dull sale, very few changing hands. A large yarding of fat cattle met a fair sale. Sheep—Fat hoggets, 28s 9d to 345; fat ewes, 32s 3d, 345, to 36s 61; fat wethers, £2 2s to £2 3s; ewo hoggets, 32s to 42s 8d; mixed hoggets, 27s Id,. 31s 7d to 33s 9d; b.f. hoggets, 29s 5d to 30s 3d; empty owes, 15s 9d to 27s 41; ewes and lambs, £2 to £2 Is. Cattle.—Fat heifers, £ll 7s, £l3, to £l4; fat cows and heifers, £l2 17s 6d; fat cows, £5, £5 15s, to £9 ss; P.A. bullocks, 4 and 5-year, £11; P.A. 2-year heifers, £5 7s; yearling Jersey heifers, £2 3s 6d to £4 10s; store cows, 25s to. £2 ss; forward cows, £3 to £4; springing heifers, £6 6s, £6 12s 6d, £6 17s 6d. to £7 8s; heifers, calved, £7 7s 60; dairy cows, £6 10s to £6 12s 6d; Jersey bulls, £5 ss, £6 6s, to 11| guineas.
