ON THE MINIATURE RANGES W.D.M.R.A. OPENING OP NEW RANGE. The Wanganui District Miniature I Rille Association are celebrating the opening of their new range on Saturday next. Miniature shooting has created considerable interest of recent years and Io cope with the growth of the sport in Wanganui lhe W.D.M.R.A. have built one of the best ranges in the North Island. Mr R. Earley, the Patron of tie' Association, will fire the opening shot at 1.30 p.m. The Ladies Miniature Rifle t’lub have all arrangements made to serve afternoon tea to the competitors. | The competitions which will bo fired I are handicap events and under the present system of handicapping it is possible for all the competitors to tie. This will enable new shots to compete with the crack shots as they will all be on an equal footing.
