WANGANUI COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL
Reference was made in the columns of this paper yesterday to the effect that the standard of entries was not equal to that of last year. This was 1 intended to mean that the number of ! entries was less than jn 1924. The I high standard of music, elocution and dancing attained last year is equalled, if not excelled, this year, and patrons are assured that a standard of excellence second to none in the Dominion will be staged when the festival is in session.
