EXTRADITION ORDERED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. July 21. Mr Poynton, S.M., made an order for the extradition of Benjamin Thomas Rowse, who was arrested at Auckland on a charge of having deserted his wife at Ashfield, New South Wales, and leaving her without means of support. [He agreed subsequently to withhold the first warrant until Friday morning, j Counsel for accused stated there was I every prospect of the w’ife overlooking the matter of agreeing to a maintenance arrangement. Counsel for the wife said that she naturally followed her three children whom accused had taken to Auckland. She had had to sei! her furniture for that purpose and had just sufficient money to take herself and children back to Sydney.
