ELEVENTH HOUR INUNDATION CONTINENT SWAAIPS LONDON CUSTOMS. Received June 30, 10.10 p.m. LONDON, June 30. There were strange scenes at. the London air station, an unprecedented number of air expresses arriving from the Continent with artificial silk and gold watches in view of the higher taxation to-morrow. The Customs are also taxed to utmost to accommodate unusual imports for the purpose of avoiding the extra duties, including hundreds of pianos from Germany.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
