SANDON.
TE KAWAU RUGBY SUB-UNION (From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the management committee was held on Thursday evening, Mr J. M. Croucher presiding. The chairman gave a brief outline of the business done at the conference at Palmerston North re-amalgamation with Horowhenua, and said the officials in Palmerston were fully alive to the needs of both Oroua and To Kawau sub-unions. There was no need to fear the interests of both sub-unions being neglected. The chairman also reported on the representative games against Oroua at Palmerston North and Manawatu at Sanson. It was resolved:—“That the application from the Hui Mai Club for transfer of T. Lawton, J. Pomaro and A. Simeon from the disbanded Awahuri senior team be granted.” “That the appeal from United Club and the ruling from Manawatu Union be held over until next meeting.” “That an exchange of games, senior and junior, be arranged with Oroua if possible.” “That an endeavour be made to have the fixture, Oroua v. Te Kawau, played on Wednesday of Winter Show week, instead of Thursday.” “That arrangements for junior representative games with Manawatu and Rangitikei be left in the hands of the chairman.” FIXTURES FOR FOURTH ROUND SENIOR July 4.— United v.
