SCULLING
WORLD’S TITLE RACE GOODSELL AND HANNAN TO-DAY HANNAN’S SECRET— 1 ‘WILL BE CHAMPION TO-DAY. Received June 26. 8.45 p.in. SYDNEY, June 26. The scullers have finished their preparations for to-morrow’s race. Both are in splendid condition, and well wound up. The latest spins have impressed their supporters, who, barring any unforeseen happening, anticipate a ding-dong content. Both men are confident of victory. Major Goodsell says he is in better condition than when t he won the championship in March. If the weather is fine and the water smooth, he expects to win. If the weather is rough Hannan may turn the tables. Hannan has declared that Major Goodsell is slick. “But I know the secret of how to beat him. I will be the world’s champion to-morrow afternoon. ”
