100 000 MEN IDLE. SOME EMPLOYERS CONCEDE DEMANDS. (fteuter) " ~LONDON, July 7. It is estimated in trades union circles that between 100,000 rfnd 150,000 have struck up to the present. The position in London is stated tc be more serious than anywhere else. It is understood that some of the employers conceded the operatives their minimum demands of a half penny per hour increase in pay and a graduated week.
