RAETIHI NOTES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr. E. A. Voelkerling, of Orautoha, was called away to Halcombe on Friday, owing to the serious illness of his father. Mrs. A. E. Urwin, of this town, received the sad news of the death of her mother (Mrs. Turner) of Palmerston, this week, and her many friends will regret to hear of her “ bereavement. Mrs. Godby, of Raetihi, received the sad news of the death of her sister in Tasmania this week. This young lady was well-known to many Raetihi residents, who will sympathise with the relatives.
