ALLEGED MISREPRESENTATION

£lOO4 DAMAGES AGAINST SHAREBROKER. HAMILTON, June 26. At the Supreme Court, Aitken Leonard Flygger and his wife, Grace Flygger, farmers, at Pukuhia. claimed from Percy Arthur Hermann, sharebroker, at Auckland. £35:00 damages for alleged misrepresentation over the sale of a farm. It was alleged that Hermann gave plaintiffs to understand when putting the deal through that Ihe farm would carrj' many mote cows than it was found possible for it to carry. The jury returned a verdict that defendant had been guilty of fraud, and awarded £lOO4 damages. His Honour adjourned the case for further consideration under rule 286. leave to move for a new trial within fourten days being granted.
