ASHBURTON WINTER MEETING. (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, June T. The Ashburton Trotting Club’s winter meeting was held to-day. The weather was fine and there was a large attendance. The track was in splendid order. The totalisator handled £20,157, against £23,937 last year. Results:— Trial Handicap.—Bruce 1, Royal Arcade 2, Peter Bingen 3. Half a length; three lengths.
