TUCKER’S SALE. Messrs Sharpe, North and Co. draw attention in our auction columns to an important sale to be held by them tomorrow (Saturday); 10th inst., at 1.30 p.m. Under instructions from Mr A. J. Tucker, who is leaving Wanganui, they will sell the w r hole of his household furniture and sundries. The piano, by Spencer, is a lovely toned instrument, and the carpets are in splendid condition. The furniture throughout is good and clean. There is also a good lot cf garden and carpenter’s tools. Anyone in need of good useful lines should make a point of attending the sale, which takes place at No. IS, Heads Road, just past the hospital.
Messrs Hackshaw, Searle’s replace advertisement appears on the front page of this issue. This firm has rightly earned the reputation of being “The. Premier Land Salesmen” of this town by being able to offer buyers bargains such as are advertised on this occasion. To those who are looking for a dairy farm at absolutely bedrock price, this advertisement is particularly interesting. The farm contains 52 acres freehold, will carry 25 dairy cows, and the priec is £25 ner acre.
