THE NO. 1 LINE. OPINION OF MOTORISTS. “The No. 1 Line through Wanganui County is an absolute disgrace, and a matter of comment by all motorists who come to Wanganui,” sai<F Mr. A. S. Burgess, at a meeting of the Wanganui Automobile,Association yesterday. Mr. D. McFarlane said the road was certainly in a disgraceful state, and he could not understand why people in the county who used it did not make an emphatic protest. It was the worst bit of road about Wanganui. Mr. Burgess said it was the worst piece of road for motorists coming to Wanganui from either Napier or Wellington. it was decided to communicate with the Wanganui County Council on the subject.
