FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO ’S YARDS. The yarding of sheep at the above sale was a small one. The following were the prices:—■ Sheep.—2o2 aged ewes, 10s Id; 140 2-tooth ewes, 20s 3d; 40 aged ewes, 10s Id; 81 2-tooth ewes, 225; 50 aged ewes, 10s lid; 73 4-year ewes, 20s 6d; 105 4looth wethers, passed at 295; 224 4 and 6-tooth wethers, 28s 3d; 158 2tooth wethers, 26s 9d; 30- 2-tooth wethers (small); 19s Id; 17 2-tooth wethers (small), 22s 3d; 230 wether lambs, passed at 18s 6d; Southdown rams, 3 J guineas; Romney rams, 1 guinea. Cattle.—There was a large yarding of cattle, the majority being in good condition. The following are the prices: —Nine fat cows, £3 18s; one fat Jersey cow, £5 17s; one fat cow, £5; 11 fat steers, £4; 13 coloured steers, £3 15s; 8 young steers, £2 7s 6d; 10 heavy bullocks, £6 8s; 21 young steers passed at £2 7s 6d; 25 heifers, £1 14s 6d; 7 young steers, passed at 355; 12 heavy cows, 245; 5 tows with calves, 30s; 34 coloured bullocks, passed at £b 2s 6d. Vealers, 14s, 17s, 225, 265, 30s, 42s 6d. Pigs.—\Veaners, 6s 6d, 10s 6d, 12s 6d, 17s; porkers, £2 2s, £2 9s, £2 15s, £3 3s; porkers (small), 30s, 32s 6d;_ stores, 28s 6d to 345.
