PAYMENT TO ALL BLACKS AUCKLAND FAVOURS lOS A DAY. The management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union on Monday discussed the question of the allowances to players of the New Zealand Rugby team for England. The chairman, Mr. H. Frost, expressed the opinion that unless the payment of out-of-pocket expenses it would be better for the game in New Zealand that the team be not sent. After discussion it was decided to adhere to the resolution proposed by Mr. Frost at the special meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Rugby Union held in September last, at Wellington, that the players be granted 10s a day out-of-pocket expenses, the sum being practically only equal in value to the amount granted by the English Rugby Union and the New Zealand Rugby Union to their players on the tours of 1904, 1905 and 1908. when two British Rug'.y teams visited New Zealand and the "All Blacks” visited England.
