THE MELBOURNE CONSPIRACY CASE
Received March 26, 8.40 p.m. ' MELBOURNE, March 26. In the Murray conspiracy case, Leslie Taylor called witnesses for the defence to prove that he was attending a wedding celebration party at quite another place to that alleged by the police on the day of the attempted prison escape. Toolin set up a similar alibi. He also denied that he ever agreed to assist Murray to escape. He did not know sueh a plan was proposed.
