THE ONGARUE DISASTER
COMMISSION OF INQUIRY APPOINTED. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 12. The Commission of Inquiry into the Ongarue railway disaster has been constituted, comprising Messrs W. G. Riddell, S.M., chairman, J. Marchbanks, C.E., Wellington Harbour Board; J. P. Maxwell, C.E. former General Manager of New Zealand Railways. The commission will meet at Wellington in a few days to decide preliminaries of the investigation.
