ONGARUE DISASTER
A NAPIER VICTIM. NAPIER. July 9. W. Lean, who was killed in the railway accident, belonged to Napier. He arrived here in November last from England, and joined Richardson’s fleet as cook. He was on his way from Auckland to Wellington to meet his wife, who is arriving by the Athenic.
