FOOD RIOTS IN GERMANY
Received July 10, 12.5 p.m. BERLIN, July 9. Food riots occurred at Nouaives, near Potsdam. Thousands of people rushed shops and compelled butchers to sell meat at 10,000 marks instead of 40,000 marks to the pound. The police restored order.
