THE MAKURA

SYDNEY ARR ANGEMENTS. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND. May 21. No new cases have been reported on the Makura. A commencement was made to-day to unload the Auckland cargo. This is expected to be completed on Thursday. ( According to cabled advice received by the local manager of the Union Company from Sydney, tho passengers and crew on arrival there will be landed in quarantine, and all who can show successful vaccination within seven years, or at least fifteen days, will be released. Members of the crew will be allowed to rejoin the Makura, which will be released at Sydney after fumigation. Passengers will be taken from Auckland, bookings being confined to those holding certificates of vaccination as above.
