MYSTERIOUS ROBBERY

TREASURY NOTES STOLEN. Received April 13, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, April 13. Scotland Yard is engaged investigating a mysterious robbery of a new issue of Treasury notes to the value of £17,500 from the Bradford parcels office on Tuesday. A bullion box was forwarded from London and placed in the railway office on Tuesday. It was missed to-day. There were no signs that the office had been broken into. The theory is that the robbery was carried out by a gang of experts, who travelled in the train containing the notes, and who took note where they were stored.
