The Picture Show Association has communicated with the Methodist conference protesting against the Press publishing sordid details of the Melbourne tragedy as detrimental to youthful readers. Members of the conference, while appreciating the showmen's protest, agreed that it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black, as many posters outside picture shows were not calculated to elevate the minds of young people.
