MARTON SALE. The N.Z. Fanners’ Co-op Distributing Co. Ltd., report, in spite of the rought weather during the last few days, a good yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward on Monday. Hoggets were still in good demand and anything showing size and o.uality elided keen competition. Well bred dairy heifers close to profit were also keenly' sought after and we report a satisfactory clearance as follaws;— Best m.s. hoggets to 20/6; good medium ditto 17/7; good medium wether hoggets 15/3 to 17/7; cull hoggets 8/10 to 10/-; m.s. 2-ths. 21/6; fat wethers 24/- to 25/8; fat ewes 17/10; best dairy heifers £ll to £l4; good medium sorts £B/10/ to £9/5/; backward sorts £2/10/ to £5; best dairy cows £6/5/ to £9/5/. cull cows 35/- to £5; empty cows 24/- to 30/-; unsound cows 20/-; weaner pigs 16/-.
