COLLIERY DISASTER.
EXPLOSION OF FIREDAMP. Received July 14, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, July 14. Twelve men were killed and five injured by an explosion of firedamp in Bleen colliery, Sterlingshire. The pit was worked partly with safety lamps. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
