WANGANUI POULTRY SHOW.

OPENS ON FRIDAY. The Wanganui Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Society’s annual show will at the Drill Hall to-mor-row, and be continued on Saturday. Splendid entries have been received, and judging by the amount of interest being displayed the show promises to be the best on record. There will be a splendid display of poultry, ducks, pigeons, and cage birds, while among the special exhibits will be a collection of finches and a live penguin which recently came ashore at Castlecliff beach. Special interest attaches to the show by reason of the fact that one of the judges will be Mr C. A. House, of England, editor of “The Poultry World,” and one of the most noted of the world's judges of poultry.
