The visiting bowlers and theli lady friends were yesterday given a motor ‘drive in motors supplied by the Centre and local bowlers. The principal points of interest were visited, the party finally reaching Kai Iwi beach when the visitors and many local bowlers were entertained at afternoon tea by the Rapanui Club, about eighty in all partaking of the dainties provided by the Rananui ladies. On behalf of the visiting bowlers Mr Jufiies Solei, President of tfhe Taranaki Centre, thanked the Wagaui Centre and the Rapanui Club for their hospitabi-lity. Mr T. H. Nixon, President of the local Centre also made a short speech appropriate to the occasion, Mr George Gordon, President of the Rapanui Club, responding on behalf of the beacji club.
