MR. LLOYD GEORGE.
RETURN TO LONDON. DISAGREEMENTS IN CABINET. LONDON, March 28. The Daily Mail states that the Premier's return to London is of premature suddenness, mainly owing to a feeling in official circles respecting the Genoa Conference. It is now clear, besides the opinion inside and outside the Commons, which is gravely divided on the question, that there have arisen disagreements within the Cabinet. Mr. Churchill for a long time has lamented the attitude of the Government towards Russia. His feelings are shared by some of his colleagues,- while hitherto differences and cleavages have been avoided. The Premier's booming of the Bolshevix policy provoked counter emotions which cannot be ignored. ft is understood that the Premier conferred with Mr. Churchill. Meanwhile Lenin, in an interview, declared: “The man I want to see is Mr. Lloyd George. 1 feel that, with him an understanding is possible.” AUDIENCE WITH THE KING. LONDON, March 28. Mr. Lloyd George spent the morning at a Cabinet meeting and luncheu with Liberal members of the Ministry. He had an audience with the King in the afternoon aj.d then left for the country. Probably he will not return to London before Monday.
