TEACHERS’ SUPERANNUATION FUND.

(Per Press Association A WELLINGTON, August 17. The Teachers’ Superannuation Board meeting dealt mainly with ordinary routine business. A report on the amendments thought necessary in the Teachers’ Superannuation Act was considered. A sub-com-mittee consisting of Messrs F. Bethune, Newtown, J. H. Richardson (Government Life Office), T. S. Ronaldson (Public Service Superannuation Board), Hayes (National Provident Fund), J. Caughley (Director of Education) was set up to prepare a final report to send to the Department. The sub-committee was authorised to confer with a similar committee of the Public Service Superannuation Board, so that the proposals may harmonise.
