THE FARR CASE.

(Received April 27, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 27. In the Farr case, Counsel for Professor Farr submitted that the professor was actuated by the best motives in sending his wife to New South Wales. He never neglected her and always manifested the keenest interest in her well-being. Her malady caused him the keenest anxiety and worry. No one regretted her unfortunate position more than the professor; Counsl fo'r the Crown said that although the Crown opposed Mrs Farr’s unconditional discharge, it was not unfavourable to her release under reasonable care and control. Judgment was reserved.
