PRICE OF BUTTER.

(Per Press Association.) ' DUNEDIN, July 30. During the past few days rumours | have been current that the price of blotter is to he substantially increased, and las a icnsequenee there has been a rush by a large number of people to lay in extra supplies. This foresight, as it were, is not warranted, as there is excellent authority for believing that there is no immediate prospeset of an increase or butter prices. If any advance is ultimately decided on. it is understood it will not take place till about October.
