THE RANGITIKEI SEAT.
MR MELDRUM'S MEETINGS.
The Liberal candidate for Rangitikei continues to have excellent meetings, and the reports from various parts of the electorate are of a very promising nature.
At Long Acre on Friday evening Mr Meldrum addressed a representative meeting of settlers and received an attentive hearing and a vote of thanks at the close.
Mr Meldrum. spoke at Kaitoke on Saturday evening to another representative attendance, Mr Ewen Campbell presiding.. The address was on similar lines to previous speeches.
Mr Meldrum left yesterday morning for the upper end of his electorate, on the Main Trunk Line. H« speaks at Mangamahu on Thursday evening, and finishes his campaign at Wanganui East the night before the election, when the chair will be taken by the Mayor (Mr C. E. Mackay).
