MR GLENN'S CANDIDATURE.

Mr W. S. Glenn's nomination was handed in to the Registrar of Electors at Marton yesterday. He is nominated by six gentlemen, two from each of the principal districts of the Rangitikei electorate, as follows: — Herbert O'Callaghan, farmer, Pohonuitane; E. W. Spooner, farmer, Taihape; R. D. McL. Patterson, railway signalman, Wanganui Bast; L. J. Sigley, master plumber, No. 1 Line, Wanganui; W. H. Button, farmer, Greystoke Soldier Settlement, Marton; Wm. Oldfield, engine driver, Marton. Mr Glenn had another successful meeting at Pukeroa, in the Pbhonui district, on Saturday night. He is at present in the Taihape district, "still going strong." It is anticipated that he will have a crowded meeting at Wanganui iaset on Saturday night, when he makes his closing visit of the campaign to the Wanganui end of the electorate. His final speech of the campaign will be made at Taihape on the 16th inst:
