NO 'AME STUFF WANTED.
After an address at Gisborne on Saturday evening by Mr A. Cook, president of the New Zealand Workers' Union, a member of l\is audience delivered a few remarks. "Get rid pf the Red Feds," he said.
Get rid of. the men like Holland, Semple, etc., and you will go in with a run." Mr Cook's reply was that tley would rather stay out all their lives than do this. He did not want to see any tame stuff in.
In view of the fact that the extremist Labour leaders are at present narac'-fing as "tame stuff" in order to throw dust in the eyes of the public, this indiscreet remark of Mr Cook's will come as a painful shock for these he admires.
