THE SURBITON CRASH.

LONDON, November 25

The Air Ministry's inquiry into the Surbiton crash is proceeding slowly. . The committee investigated Miss Wcolloy's allegation that the machine was inadequately tested. The independent evidence adduced satisfied the committee that the machine had made several flights on the previous day with full equipment, the aggregate flying time being two hours, which were sufficient.

The inquiryI'is now being directed towards the establishing of the full* weight carried. The machine waa ■equipped with a specially large petrol tank. The evidence showed it was not full on the day of the disaster.
