Messrs Abraham and "Williams, Ltd., report that at Palmerston North sale en the 27th inst. we had a fair entry,of both sheep and cattle. There was a good competition for sheep, cattle being hard to quit. We quote:—Sheep: Fat and forward ewes 25/ to 34/7; store ewes 15/6 to 18/9; ewes arid Jambs 32/6; wolly hoggets 15/ to 24/6. Cattle: Forward cows £7 9/ to £8 5/; store bullocks to £12 5/; yearling steers to £3 5/; yearling heifers to £3 7/6; rpringing heifers £8 5/ to £10 5/; springing ccrvs £7 5/ to £8 17/.
