BOLSHEVISM IN SIBERIA.
LONDON, August 31
The Times' correspondent at Tomsk states that Chinese are steadily developing a pro-Bolshevik attitude as a result of Red propaganda. The commanders in Northern Manchuria are seriously incroaching on the railway zone, abandoning the sector for protection allotted them by the inter-Allied Commission, and employing six gunboats on the Amur. They are thus able from the Sarbin railway to threaten communications of the whole of Siberia. These and Gther incidents are helping to stimulate the hostility of the Coolies towards all foreigners.
Koltchak has resolutely protested against the presence of the gunboats and unless the vessels are recalled he proposes to take measures to protect Russian interests.
