DUBLIN ST. METHODIST CHOIR AT WORK AND PLAY.
There was a full attendance of the Methodist Choir in the Dublin Street Church, on Thursday night, when the annual meeting was held. Rev. B. Dudley occupied the chair. Some new members Avere formally received by nominaitfdn. A report fof^the oast year was 'read by the secretary and treasurer, Mrs Barman. This showed a balance to credit or a little over £3. Officers were appointed as follows: Conductor, Mr Warwick; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Harman; organists. Misses Forbes and Huckstep; musical librarian, Mr. Sanderson A committee was elected," consisting of Misses Blake and Gwynn, and Messrs Mara and H. Gwynn, together with all officers appointed. At the close of the business proceedings a pleasant social function was held in one of the adjoining schoolrooms, under the presidency of the Rev B. Dudley. A musical and elocutionary programme, interspersed with games, was gone through, and refreshments partaken of.
The usual fortnightly meeting of tho Dublin St.. branch of the P.P.A. will be hetd to-morrow evenins at 7.30.
